GYMKHANA AND SPORTS COMMITTEE (DEGREE COLLEGE) 2017-18
Gymkhana and Sports committee of the college always strives for the physical and there by mental development of the students.
The committee meeting held in the month of July 2017.Mr. Abhay Ghag was selected as the Sport and Gymkhana Secretary . The students members of the committee were also selected in the same meeting considering their participation in various sports activities.
The college sent many students for different sport events at the college and university level, State level and National level throughout the year.

Mr. Selvin Kolge (B.Sc IT)
Won Silver Medal at National Level inter-collegiate Kick-Boxing Championship on 19th ,20th June2017, Gudgaon, Hariyana.
Mr. Ashutosh Parag Saha (SYBMS)
Won Gold Medal in State Level Body Building Championship(Maharashtra Shree) on 30th Jan. 2017 at Navi Mumbai.
Won Gold Medal in Jr. Mumbai ShreeBody Building Championship held on 26th Jan. 2017 at Prel, Mumbai.
Mr. Ganesh Ramesh Shinde (FYBA)
Won Thane Meyer Trophy in Wrestling Championship held on 2nd Dec. 2016 at Thane.
Won Silver Medal at University Level Inter-collegiate Wrestling Championship on 2nd Jan. 2017 at Wadala, Mumbai.
Our college Kabaddi team went up to zonal level. Our college Cricket team went up 4th round at university level.
The college organized a number of sports events like Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Tug-of-war, Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Running, Long Jump, Carrom, Chess, Pool, Snooker etc. During the ANNUAL SPORT EVENT from 3rd Jan. To 5th Jan. 2017. All the students enjoyed the events with the full enthusiasms. The committee received an overwhelming response for all the events equally from boys and girls. The events were inaugurated by the auspicious hands of our Chairman(SNET) Hon. Mr. Rohidasji Patil, Mr. Maheshji Mhatre Secretary(SNET) and SENET Member(University of Mumbai), Principal Dr. V. N. Yadav and respected invited guests.
The college always gives its best to hare greater success and the committee is bound to give its full share for it.
I thank to our Chairman Mr. Rohidasji Patil for always motivating and providing all the facilities. Secretary Mr. Maheshji Mhatre, Principal Dr. V. N. Yadav, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff, NSS, NCC volunteers and all my Gymkhana Volunteers.
Annual Sports (2015-16)
The college organized a number of sports events like Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Tug-of-war, Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Running, Long Jump, Carrom, Chess, Pool, Snooker etc. During the ANNUAL SPORT EVENTS from 10th December to 14th December 2015. All the students enjoyed the events with the full enthusiasm. The committee received an overwhelming response for all the events equally from boys and girls.
The events were inaugurated at the auspicious hands of Mr. Nitin Mhatre, the World Champion of Best Physique. Chairman, Shankar Narayan Education Trust, Hon. Mr. Rohidasji Patil, Secretary, Shankar Narayan Education Trust, Mr. Maheshji Mhatre, Principal Dr. V. N. Yadav and other respected invited guests were present on the occasion.
The college always gives its best to have greater success and the committee is bound to give its full share for it.
