Objectives
- To create awareness about burning environmental issues amidst society at large.
- To impart basic knowledge about the environment and its allied problems while developing strong understanding and an attitude of concern for the environment.
- Environmental education introduces global, regional & local environmental concerns like global warming, climate change, pollution, threat to biodiversity, Mismanagement of Plastic & E-waste & growing concerns of fast fashion.
- To help students adopt a sustainable lifestyle & transform into a responsible citizen.
Opportunities
- Students participate in events organized by the committee and get a hands-on experience to deal with environmental problems
- It develops a sense of responsibility by gauging their contribution into world environmental issues.
- Students are inclined towards Renewable energy sector as a career option.
