WORLD YOGA DAY
The college NSS unit decided to celebrate the International Yoga Day on 21st June for the academic year 2018-19. As per the plan, we did the publicity of it by the day of notice and mouth publicity. We informed all the interested people to come in the college auditorium at 9:00 am to participate on Yoga Day. Prof. Amol bavaskar and Sunil Dhapse, Yoga trainer has been invited on that day to conduct the Yoga session.

On 21st June, 2018, Sunday, students, NCC cadets, NSS volunteers as well as teaching and non-teaching staff were present at 9:00 am in auditorium of the college. Shri Rohidasji Patil graced the occasion by lighting the lamp and inaugurated the yoga session. Prof. Amol bavaskar and Sunil Dhapse started the yoga session with prayer and conducted various as ans, Vajrasns, Padmasan Dhanuvrasan etc. which are most useful for human beings and to get relief from stress. It was 2 hours session, 70 participants were present for the same.

PULSE POLIO (28/07/2018)
Pulse polio activity was organised in our college by the NSS volunteers. 31 volunteers participated in the event.

National T.B. control programme with MBMC Health Department (7th August 2018)

PARTICIPATION OF N.S.S. PROGRAMME OFFICERS PROGRAMME
Prof. Chandrakanty Khune participated in N.S.S. planning meeting organised by N.S.S. Unit ON 21st July, 2018 at Yaashwantrao Chapekar College of Commerce & management, Palghar.

DISTRICT LEVEL RESIDENTIAL LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMME CAMP
To build the quality of leadership among the volunteers, Sonopant Dandekar College, Palghar(W) organised leadership training programme camp from 30th August 2018 to 5th September, 2018, Two volunteers from our College, Priya S.Y.B.com ‘A’ and Kunal S.Y.B.M.S ‘B’ participated in the camp.

TREE PLANTATION (29-06-2018)
On 29th June the NSS unit of the college planted tree in college campus and in Mira-Bhayander Municipal Corporation Ground. In which the Principal, N.S.S. volunteers, teaching and non-teaching staff participated actively.
We have planted 80 trees. In this event there were 60 students participated.

WELCOMING OF CYCLING RALLY OF VIVA COLLEGE (07-09-2018)
On 7th Sept 2018 there was a cycling rally welcoming of viva college in the college by the P.O. of our college in the college campus. The rally was organised for the motive of anti-plastic awareness all around the college and the community.
In this event the N.S.S. volunteers and the teachers and the other students participated in the rally in the college campus.

SWACHA BHARAT PAKHWADA 14TH AUGUST 2018
ON 14TH AUGUST, 2018 we have done Swachh Bharat Pakhwada. We have visited to Police station for cleanliness. In this event 60 students participated. This event started at 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. All NSS volunteers participated and gave his best.

RALLY EVENT- 15th August 2018
On 15th August, 2018 we have done flag hoisting. Then we were hosted rally event was from Shankar Narayan college to BJP’S Office. This event started at 7:00 AM To 10:00 AM.

HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMME 28th September 2018
NSS unit of our college has organised Health Awareness Programme on 28TH August, 2018. We have started this programme at 10:30 AM To 12:30 PM. In this programme there are 69 volunteers. health awareness programme there are 2 leaders. Behind every leaders there are 22 students.We had gone our college adopted area i.e. Indira nagar. We went door to door. And ask some questions…

MEGA BLOOD DONATION CAMP-6th September 2018
NSS unit of Shankar Narayan college conducted MEGA BLOOD DONATION CAMP on 06th September, 2018. This event started at 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. In this BLOOD DONATION CAMP. There were two hospitals came, J.J Hospital and Nair Hospital.
Our NSS students, ex students , teaching and non teaching staff participated in this event. The number of blood donor is more than 189. Our NSS volunteers (girls -62, boys -41) and teaching staff helped us to make this event successfully.
Nair hospital has collected 123 blood bottles. J.J hospital has collected 66 blood bottles.

8TH SEPTEMBER 2018- ANTI-PLASTIC EVENT
NSS unit of Shankar Narayan college conducted ANTI-PLASTIC event ON 8-09-18.
The event started at 7:30 AM from college with rally. Around 100 students participated in the rally. The rally started from the college to Bhayander railway station in which NSS volunteers spread message of Anti-Plastic. On the same day NSS unit visited Uttan Virgin beach. Where they collected plastic garbage from the beach and cleaned the beach and also spread the message of Anti Plastic To the Uttan village.

8TH SEPTEMBER 2018- TRAFFIC CONTROLLING EVENT
NSS unit of our college participated Traffic Controlling activity at Uttan Vailenkanny Bhayander on 2nd September and 8th September, 2018. On the occasion of Mother Marry birthday celebration at the vailenkiny shrine where lakhs of people gather for pray and annual feast. Around 50 volunteers conducted traffic controlling activity for smooth functioning of the annual feast.

N.S.S. unit of Shankar Narayan College conducted traffic controlling event and mob at Jesal Park coast at bhayander east.

TRAFFIC CONTROLLING FOR GANPATI EMERSION (23-09-2018)
NSS unit of Shankar Narayan College conducted traffic controlling on 23rd Sept, 2018 during immersion 55 volunteers supported to Mira-Bhayander traffic police in controlling traffic and at Jesal Park coast, Bhaynder (E).

N.S.S. DAY CELEBRATION (24-09-2018)
On this day all the NSS volunteers gathered in the college campus for the celebration of NSS day celebration. On this day there was cleaniness awareness and anti-plastic rally from college to bhayander station.

ANTI PLASTIC RALLY AND GROUND CLEANINESS (26-09-2018)
On this day 26th Sept 2018 there was a rally and ground cleaniness about anti- plastic cleaniness in the public and in the college campus between the students and the teachers and the non-teaching staff.

GENDER SENSITISATION (28-09-2018)
NSS unit of Shankar Narayan College organized workshop on 28th Sept, 2018. In this workshop around 100 students participated. To take this lecture prof. Aruna madam had come from Abhinav college and one lady professor was from our college.

PARTICIPATION IN UTKARSHA EVENT AT ST. JOSEPH COLLEGE ARNALA- VIRAR (28-09-2018)
In this event from our college four students were sent in the utkarsha event at st. Joseph college Arnala- virar. The Singing, dancing, drama, beat boxing events were held in this camp.

ORGAN DONATION AWARENESS RALLY (29-09-2018)
On this day there was a rally held on awareness about organ donation in the college. The rally started from college campus to navghar road and then the rally ended at Bhayander station. The awareness was for the public, the society people, the students and the teachers and so on.

GANDHI JAYANTI
NSS Unit of Shankar Narayan College celebrated Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd Oct, 2018.The event started at 7:30 am from college with rally. Around sixty students participated in this rally. The rally started from college to Bhaynder station…

VOTERS ID REGISTRATION (1-10-2018 TO 30-10-2018)
In this event the students whose age was above 18 or at the age of 18 were allowed for making of the voters ID. All the students were allowed to fill the form with the help of the officer of the voters ID department. In the event there were 37 students who filled up the form of the voters ID.

FELICITATION AT SIR J.J. HOSPITAL (30/10/2018)
N.S.S. unit is being felicitated by sir j.j. Hospital Mumbai for their contribution towards social service (by organizing blood donation camp). NSS programme officer prof. Sandeep Burken received a momento (Trophy) and a certificate with the hands of honorable Dean of the hospital.

MAHA WALKATHON
IN ASSOCIATION WITH Government of Maharashtra, NSS unit of our college organised Maha-walkathon, supporting Road safety, No-honking, Responsible driving. Activity was to walk upto 2 km. 30 NSS volunteers participated in this event.

ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS
The road safety training programme was organised in the Shankar Narayan College campus. Around thirty eight students have attend the training programme and gained the knowledge about the road saftey. The programme was to create the awareness about the traffic control rules and for the road safety of people.

HIV AWARENESS
The aids awareness activity was conducted by the red ribbon club in the first week of December from 1st December to 6th December 2018. On 1st Dec. Tag distribution, rally and street play were organized in which 300 participants has participated. On 2nd dec. The street play was organized in the local area 23 student has participated in the event. On 3rd dec. Seminar and counseling of this activity was conducted in that 186 student has participated. On 4th dec. There was also a seminar and counseling of this activity and 78 volunteer were in this activity. On 5th and 6th dec. There was a poster exhibition on the aids awareness in which 95 participant had participated.

RESIDENTIAL CAMP
The resifential camp was organised from 10th to 16th january 2019. [the descriptive report is attached seperately.]

STATE LEVEL NSS CAMP
The state level NSS camp was organised from 28th January 2019 to 3rd February 2019 at Santaji Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur. This camp was attended by only one student.

LOKSHAHI PANDHARWADA
a) The Lokshahi Day Oath was conducted on 25th January 2019. It was organised at the Shankar Narayan College Campus.
b) The Lokshahi Pandharwada Was Organised In Accordance To The Cirrcular Given By The State Government. It Was Organised From 26th January 2019 To 10th February 2019. It Was Organised At Shankar Narayan College Campus And Total 60 Students Participated.
c) On 8th February 2019 The Human Chain Was Formed With The Objective Of Strenghting Of Democracy By Discharging The Voting Rights.
d) Closing Of Lokshahi Pandharwada Celebration By Organising One Day Workshop On 11th February 2019 In Which Vasudev Shirvalkar And Kailash Shewate, Election Officer, Mahesh Ji Mhatre, Secretary Of S.N.Education Trust, Dr. V.N.Yadav Principal Of The Institute, Nss Po And Nss Volunteer.
